The Last Climb Study Guide for Grades 3-8
As a homeschool mom, I love it when I can turn a “living book” into a unit study. The Last Climb is set in the last days of the Ice Age, and if you look for material for this time period, there isn’t much available.
This study guide is designed to be used along with the book (you can download it free here) for a one week unit. It contains:
- LEGO Math (my kids’ favorite part!)
- Narration exercises
- Creative writing prompts
- Coloring page
- Comprehension questions
- A fun (outdoor) activity
- Map work
- Geography.
It’s geared towards Christians, but would work for secular homeschoolers too. Although some activities are “for” grades 3-5 and others “for” grades 5-8, we’re all teachers here, we know those are just suggestions. 😉
